Personal Statement

I am a 5'3 attackmen at St.Dominic High School in O'fallon, MO.  I currently have a 4.0 gpa and am highly ranked in my class of 211.  Playing womens collegiate lacrosse is something I intend to achieve. Coming from the Midwest, many have never heard of lacrosse, much less seen a game.  As a Freshmen I am working with my club team and coaches on traveling to tournaments, camps, and clinics to increase my playing time and make opportunities available for myself. My current goals now during offseason are to shave time off my mile, better my stick handling, and gain muscle.  I would like to go to a school with a good environment and has the kind of balance I need between classes and the field.  I take all opportunities presented and often go and find more. I am very involved at my high school, I belong to 9 different clubs, I represent my school as an ambassador,  and I am very dedicated on and off the field.  I am open to all schools; however,  higher echolon schools are preferred. I am not sure of my major, but thinking about a degree in science.  A college with an atmosphere where I can thrive both academically and athletically is what I am looking for.
