Billy Brown, 68

The patriarch of the Alaskan Bush family Billy Brown was born on 3 December 1952 in Fort Worth Texas.  Billy died at the age of 68 in February 2021.

During his teenage years, he was married to another woman and had two daughters. He kept details about his first wife away from the public eye, however, his daughter Twila once appeared on Alaskan Bush people in an episode.

After losing his parents in a plane crash, Billy wandered throughout the nation and spent many years of his life as a fisherman in Northern Pacific. Later he settled in the wilderness of Alaska with Ami and his kids.

Billy was 62 years old when the first season of Alaskan Bush people aired in 2014.

Ami Brown, 59

The matriarch of the Alaskan Bush family Ami Brown was born on 28 August 1963 in Texas. Ami is 59 years old as of 2023.

She is 11 years younger than Billy. The couple first met each other while living in Texas. They got married in 1979 when she was just a teenager.

Ami and her husband Billy got adapted to the wilderness lifestyle when they were trapped on an island for 18 months. The couple managed to learn the surviving skills and felt more satisfaction than their 9-5 jobs back in modern life.

Ami grew up in a family of alcoholics and tries to maintain distance from them after becoming estranged. She homeschooled all her children and gave them the best possible life. The woman has overcome many health battles including cancer and is now looking after her seven kids and grandchildren.

Matthew Jeremiah Brown (Matt), 40

Matthew Jeremiah Brown was born on 7 September 1982 in Alaska. The oldest son of the family grew up in nature and started fishing from a very young age of 4.

At 10, he was already a regular hunter and fisherman. He was in his early thirties when the show first aired. Later, he stopped appearing on the show because of alcohol abuse. Matt fell into the addiction after spending time in Juneau. In 2016, he went to rehab facilities but the man is now estranged from the family. Matt is now active on his YouTube channel. 

Joshua Brown (Bam Bam), 38

Joshua Brown is 38 years old now. He was born on 18 September 1984 and was just 30 when he was featured on the Alaskan Bush people.

Joshua is nicknamed Bam Bam and has a funny personality. He grew up in the Alaskan fishing boats and is basically an expert when it comes to boat and water. Bam is in a relationship with former Alaskan Bush producer Alli Kagan.

Solomon Isaiah Freedom Brown (Bear), 36

Solomon Isaiah Freedom Brown was born on 10 June 1987 in Alaska. Solomon is better known as Bear Brown and is currently 36 years old.

Bear is the hunter of the family and tracks animals for hunting. Growing up in the wilderness has made him an expert in such a dangerous task. Besides that, Bear Brown also works as a producer for his own movie. 

Bear is a married to Raiven Adams and has two sons named River Brown, 3, and Cove Gabriel Caden Brown.

Gabriel Starbuck Brown (Gabe), 33

The 33-year-old Gabe Brown was born on 15 December 1989. Gabriel was 3 months old when the family started their journey on the fishing boat.

He is the powerhouse of the family and responsible for the jobs that requires muscle work. From construction works to lifting heavy things, Gabe does it all. 

He got married to Raquell Rose in 2019. Gabe and his wife also have a four-year-old child.

Noah Darkcloud Brown, 30

Noah Darkcloud Brown was born on 18 July 1992. He is currently 30 years old. 

Noah invents new things for the family in the back country. Basically, he is the gadget guy who makes life easier in the nature. Noah is also a family man now that his wife Rhain Alisha has given birth to two sons Adam Brown and Eli Brown.

Amora Jean Snowbird Brown (Birdy), 28

Amora is the sixth child of the Alaskan Bush family born on 18 November 1994. She is better known as Birdy Brown.

Birdy is the first daughter in the family. Despite growing up with five older brothers, Amora never was dependent on anyone. The independent girl is a fisherman as well as a hunter. 

Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown (Rainy), 20

The youngest family member of the Alaskan Bush people is Rainy Brown. Merry Christmas Kathryn Raindrop Brown is her real name.

Rainy was born on 23 November 2002 and is currently 20 years old. Being the youngest daughter, she aspires to become fierce and independent like her parents, brothers and sister. 

She is also an influencer on Instagram and TikTok and goes by the name heroofkirrkwell on social media.
