Discussion:
Today will be a transition day. Hopefully you got a chance to enjoy the mild temperatures, with sunny skies. Clouds are moving into the area and will be increasing through the day.
At least we stay dry today and despite the clouds, temperatures will be mild again this afternoon. Look for highs to be around 60 degrees.
The rain will move in Friday. Mainly for our northern most counties. An isolated showers or two is possible in the metro area. The rain will be light to moderate at times.
Showers and possible thunderstorms stick around for the weekend, but there will be some dry time, especially in the morning, on Saturday. Rain chances will go up through the weekend.
The heaviest and more wide spread rain will be around Sunday and Monday.
Showers start to move out by Monday night, and we're left drying into next week. Rain totals of 1/2" to 2"+ are expected through Monday.
Temperatures remain mild thanks to the additional cloud cover. Afternoon highs warm into the 60s each day, and morning low temperatures will be much milder in the 50s.
