Braden Kidd's Football Recruiting Profile

Personal Statement
In an effort to better prepare for college, my family and I decided to transfer to Christian Brothers College High School after my freshman year where I attended a private 3A Christian School. CBC is a private St. Louis high school with an excellent reputation as a college prep school. CBC has had one of the best football programs in the State of Missouri during my attendance and my team recently won the Class 6A State Championship.
Last year I played as a varsity OT/OG on the right side of our high powered offense, but this year in order to find a better balance, my line coach is using me as an OT/OG on the left side of our line which has broadened the versatility I can bring to a roster in college.
I know that I will play football in college, and have had visits with colleges in South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Iowa, as well as Missouri. My size and athletic ability are getting me noticed, but I know that I must continue to live in the weight room to meet my goals. I have country boy genetics, and a blue collar work ethic and attitude. I can't imagine what it would be like if I had to stop playing football after my senior year. I know that the hard work I have put in this sport has made me a better person, and teammate. God has blessed me with special gifts and I am excited about finding a good fit in college, both on and off the field.
