Initially, Pinchot intended to pursue a career in fine art. However, he was discovered by an agent while performing in a college play and decided to shift his focus to acting. At Yale, he majored in theater studies at Morse College and graduated with honors.

He also had a DIY reality TV show called “The Bronson Pinchot Project” for two seasons. However, all six properties were put up for sale when he filed for bankruptcy in 2015.
Pinchot has been engaged twice but has never been married as of this writing. In April 2017, he purchased two tiny homes measuring 77 and 153 square feet.
