Personal Statement

    These past two years on the Vandegrift golf team have been great experiences for me as a player and teammate. I started off on the Junior Varsity team as a freshman, and ended up winning a tournament by three strokes. This past year, I played on the Varsity squad and had a scoring average of 77.8.  This upcoming year, I hope to make the top 5 on the team and be the best teammate and player I can be.  I play in multiple personal events including AJGA's, TJGT's, and STPGA's. I am just getting into Legends Junior Tour events which are on the better side of tournaments. I am excited for my junior year on the golf team and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me!

    Scholastically, I believe I am a top student in the classroom. I strive to make the best grades I can and will give my best effort into anything I do. This past year, I am proud to say that my GPA was a 3.87 on a 4.0 scale. My grades are very important to me and I am aware on how they will set me on a better path for my future.

    Besides Golf and school, I have another hobby that I strive to be the best in... Fishing. I love to go fishing early in the mornings or late in the evenings with my friends. I fish lakes, ponds, and rivers targeting monster largemouth bass.

    At the moment, I am not in any extracurricular clubs but I do participate in a Bible study group called Teen CBS. My entire golf team participates in the bible study and it is a great way for us to come together and grow closer.
