Casey Wasserman is an American entertainment executive, sports agent executive and owner of the former Arena League football team, the Los Angeles Avengers. His net worth is estimated to be $400 million dollars.
Casey was born in Los Angeles in 1974 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from UCLA. He is the grandson of mega-agent Lew Wasserman, whom he claims to be his greatest teacher. In 1998, Casey became the youngest person ever to own a professional sports team when he purchased the Los Angeles Avengers of the Arena Football League for about $5 million.
That same year, Casey founded the Wasserman Media Group, a sports marketing and talent management company, of which he remains CEO. He also leads the Wasserman Foundation, a charitable organization founded by his grandparents in 1952.
In October 2018, Casey listed his Beverly Hills home for sale for $125 million. The 18,000 square-foot home, built on a triple lot, finally sold in June 2020 for $68 million to music mogul David Geffen. In August 2020, Casey purchased a new home in Beverly Hills for $23 million.
