Caylee Premoli's Women's Volleyball Recruiting Profile

Writer Rachel Young

Personal Statement

One of my collegiate goals that I aspire to accomplish is to play volleyball at the college level. I have participated in many extracurricular activities in my life such as basketball, golf and karate. However, my passion for volleyball is unmatched! Ever since I began to play volleyball at the age of nine my passion for the sport has immensely grown. What makes me different from other candidates is my versatility and attitude as a volleyball player. Through my many years of playing on different club and high school teams I have learned many different techniques, tips, and valuable lessons that I apply to my playing. I have played libero, defensive specialist, setter, right side hitter, and outside hitter. Wherever my coach and team needs me the most, I am willing to play the position and give it my all. I am always willing to learn new ways to better my abilities. One of the very important things I have learned about volleyball is that the outcome of the game is all about the mindset of you and your teammates. I constantly strive to show a positive and encouraging attitude on and off the court. With the right mindset, anyone and everyone is capable of anything. I hope to pursue my academic career in education. I desire to give back to others the great experiences I endured throughout my childhood. I was always pushed to work my hardest in my academic and athletic careers and feel it has molded me into the player and person I am today. I hope to educate young children within and beyond the classroom as a teacher and mentor.
