Darwin Nunez is out of Liverpool’s Premier League game against Leicester City with a toe injury.
The Uruguay international started in his side’s last outing; a 1-0 victory over Brentford on May 6.
However, the 23-year-old will miss the game at the King Power Stadium on Monday, despite travelling with the squad as he wanted to support the team on such an important night.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that the forward, who has made 42 appearances in all competitions this season scoring 15 goals and providing four assists, suffered the injury during a training session before the game.
He said: “Yesterday we trained and he looked OK but afterwards he said he felt something in his toe so we had to make a decision.”
Liverpool are fifth-placed in the Premier League, four points behind both Manchester United and Newcastle United who occupy the two available Champions League places.
