Dubai Bling follows a group of friends (and some enemies) who hail from different countries including Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and India. The Netflix show is back for season 2 this December and fans are curious to know more about Hassan Elamin’s nationality, family, and marriage to Mona Kattan.
Mona and Hassan are loved-up newlyweds. Netflix viewers are introduced to the couple in Dubai Bling season 2. Their love story is heartwarming and unique, and they’ve not only had success in their love life but the two are established business people. Mona is one of three sisters who made millions bringing global brand Huda Beauty to life.
Fans speculate Hassan Elamin’s nationality
When Dubai Bling fans are introduced to Mona, she explains she was born to Iraqi parents in the USA. Mona’s father also appears in season 2 and the two get emotional about the sacrifices he made to help his daughters make a success of Huda Beauty.
Hassan is also introduced on the Netflix show as Mona’s husband. But, fans are left to speculate when it comes to his background.
In a YouTube video on Mona’s page, Hassan explains that his family lives in Dubai.
His brother, Ahmad Elamin, shared a throwback photo of their parents from their wedding day which has some fans guessing the family’s heritage in the comments.

Hassan is a family man
During Dubai Bling Mona makes it clear she’s currently focusing on her businesses over becoming a mother.
She says Hassan wants to have a family as soon as possible. Speaking on YouTube, he’s keen on having two children, “a boy and a girl.”
However, at the moment they’re both enjoying being “workaholics.”
Hassan’s siblings
In the couple’s Q and A YouTube video, Hassan explains that Mona went to university with his sister, Sally Elamin (@sallyelamin).
He also has a brother named Ahmad Elamin, and the trio of siblings appear to be very close.
Hassan and Mona also revealed that he is set to be bringing out a clothing brand called Elamins (@elamins) with his family which is “coming soon.”
