Dylan Williams's Football Recruiting Profile

Writer Matthew Cannon

Personal Statement

My name is Dylan Williams, class of 2019, primary position is quarterback.  Starting varsity QB for 2017, 7-3 record in the Shenandoah Valley District.  Passing completion rate of 72%, 121-167.  18 touchdowns, 1482 yards and only 2 inception for the year.  I was selected as second team all district QB.  Accuracy is a key strength as well as a strong leader of my team this year.  My strengths are mobility, staying clam under pressure and seeing the field.  I’m good at not getting sacked or getting the ball out prior!

2016 first game was a win, passing 284 yards, 81% completion.  2015 season, my team was district champs with a record of 8-2.

I love this game!  I have continue to play multiple sports including basketball and track.  I grow up playing football and with multiple years as QB, only 7 losses.  I also started at safety for the JV team.

I have been a strong leader for my teammates, having loyalty to the team is very important to me and celebrating in other’s success.  Giving back to the community is also important to me and my family as we help our homeless population and children in foster care.

My goal is to play Division I or II.  I’m willing to go all out to have it!  Playing college football is a goal I will achieve.  I expect to work hard to become a positive contributor to a team and help bring home a championship!   I know I have lots of hard work in front of me.  I am in the weight room, playing varsity basketball and running track this spring as well as placing an importance on academic success, current GPA 3.5.
