The Bates Family is well known for its several television series. Parents Kelly and Gil Bates share 19 children together.

The Bates is one of the largest families to be featured on reality television series in the United States of America. Although they do not have Best Movies About Big Family, they certainly rank high up in the list of best reality television series about big families. 

They are headed by the patriarch Gil Bates and matriarch Kelly Bates. The pair together has nine sons and ten daughters. Gil and Kelly are also proud grandparents to 23 grandchildren and counting. 

Their children in order of birth are; Zachary Gilvin, Michaela Christan, Erin Elise, William Lawson, Kenneth Nathaniel, Alyssa Joy, Tori Layne, Trace Whitfield, Carlin Brianne, Josie Kellyn, Katie Grace, Jackson Ezekiel, Warden Justice, Isaiah Courage, Addallee Hope, Ellie Bridget, Callie-Anna Rose, Judson Wyatt, and Jeb Colton.

The eldest of the Bates siblings Zachary is 34 years old and was born on December 30, 1988, and the youngest Jeb Colton was born on February 1, 2012, and is 11 years old as of 2023. 

Out of the 19 siblings, 11 are married to their respective partners and 9 out of them already have children of their own. The patriarch Gil was born as the oldest of three children to his parents William Bates Sr. and Jane Bates.
