Sarika Cullis-Suzuki is cast as the new host in The Nature of Things Season 62 alongside Anthony Morgan.

The Nature of Things is the longest-running science series on Television. It shows inspiring stories and scientific theories behind it, from the search for another life to the psychology of human babies and furry animals' evolution. The show features all. 

Sarika is a highly talented scientist and fit for the expert on the show. She is a board member of the David Suzuki Foundation and of the Centre for the Salish Sea. The Ocean expert has a Ph.D. from the University of York investigating the effect of noise on fish, especially in the marine habitat, due to sounds from boats and ships.

Moreover, Sarika Cullis-Suzuki has already appeared as a guest of The Nature of Things in previous seasons. So she is not a new face for long-term viewers.

The first hosts of the show were Donald Ivey and Patterson Hume in 1960. From the second season, several guest hosts like John Livingston, Lister Sinclair, and Donald Crowdis starred alongside. David Suzuki is the science broadcaster on The Nature of Things since 1979. He hosted the science TV series for 43 years. 

He recently announced his retirement in 2022, and starting in 2023, his daughter Sarika Cullis Suzuki will broadcast the program with co-host Anthony Morgan.
