After being turned down last year by Charity Lawson, Joey Graziadei is looking for love once again. Charity and Dotun Olubeko are still together today. Now, it’s time for Joey to find his “one.” Already, Lea Cayanan has caught his eye on The Bachelor 2024.

January 22 sees the all-new Bachelor season kick off on ABC. In true reality TV style, there wasn’t a dull moment and tears were flowing among some of the ladies. Evalin Clark was distraught at one point of the premiere episode and Lea was also seen in tears, too.

Meet The Bachelor 2024’s Lea

Joey had the pleasure of meeting 32 single ladies vying for his heart this January but there’s one who appears to stand out to fans.

Twenty-three-year-old Lea hails from Oahu, Hawaii, and works as an account manager.

She explains on the show she’s looking for someone who values family as much as she does, adding she’s “the daughter of two incredibly hard-working parents from the Phillippines.”

Joey felt a connection with Lea so strongly in episode 1 he opted to hand her his First Impression Rose.

Lea cries over mystery card

In tears during The Bachelor’s first episode after she was handed a mystery card.

Joey reads aloud: “The card gives her the power to steal a one-on-one date from someone else before hometowns.”

I want to give a lot of autonomy to you… I want to give a lot of love and respect to the women who have put their lives on hold, adding she didn’t want to “play god” which Joey said “spoke a lot about her character.”

In response to being given the card, Lea threw it in the fire, which prompted many fans to applaud her attitude. One fan tweeted via X (Twitter): “Well props to Lea’s parents. That girl was raised right.”

Another wrote: “Tremendous move by Lea throwing that card in the fire. She’ll get more respect from Joey AND the women will have no choice but to respect her for being a girl’s girl.”

Zodiacs are compatible

Since Joey is the new Bachelor, fans are eager to find out everything there is to know about him including his favorite football team and when his birthday is.

The ABC star was born on May 24, 1995, making him 28 years old. He’s a Gemini on the zodiac.

Lea, who was given Joey’s First Impression Rose, took to Instagram on February 21 to share she turned 23 years old. Therefore, she’d be a Pisces, making her and Joey super compatible, per Times of India.
