Personal Statement

I am a 5'11" left handed setter from Clarkston, MI. I am in my senior year at Our Lady of the Lakes High School and have been playing club volleyball for 7 years. This club season I will play for Oakland Elite Volleyball Club on the 18-1 National Team for Coach Nancy Mallman.   I have previously played for both Legacy Volleyball Club and Instant Replay Volleyball Club. 

Ideally, I would like to attend college in a suburban or urban area. I am open to all levels of college volleyball and have an interest in attending a school whose cirriculum involves a study abroad program.  I have a 3.96 GPA and am looking to attend a strong academic college. I am undecided in my major, but am considering an International Business degree with possibly a minor in Spanish.  It's very important to me to be in a program where I will play early in college and make an impact on the court my freshman year.  I have a strong work ethic and a passion for winning!    Thank you for your consideration.
