Get ready to open the closet to Netflix’s new clutter buster series, taking celebrities homes from messy to organization skills level 101.
The show sees a team of tidying experts visit the homes of well-known film actors and reality stars such as Reese Wetherspoon and Khloe Kardashian, either going through their sock drawer or colour-coding their food pantry.
It has quickly become a popular watch since Season 1 was released this week, taking a modern spin on the UK’s classic How Clean Is Your House, but replacing cleanliness with extremely satisfying storage systems.
There is one main question on everyone’s minds though. How much does The Home Edit charge? We found out the costs behind the organizing team’s amazing work!
Meet The Home Edit team
Joanna Teplin and Clea Shearer, both from California, currently live in Nashville. The pair were brought together to share their love for organization by a mutual friend. According to their website, it was “friendship at first text, and business partnership immediately after”.
They launched The Home Edit with hopes to reinvent traditional organising, and merge it with design and interior styling. The Netflix stars launched a book in March 2019, which led to their Instagram page taking off and growing in popularity as a business.
Their book The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals helps readers to tackle the contents inside their drawers, and how to arrange them in an easy-to-find way. Now their jobs involve visiting high-end homes across Hollywood and helping them to organise everything perfectly.
There’s a new series on Netflix called ‘Get Organized with The Home Edit’ and let me tell you how satisfying it is to watch people organize other peoples stuff for my 30-year-old-anxious-ass
