How to get tickets to Beyoncé's sold out Atlanta concert

Writer Scarlett Howard

Beyoncé kicked off her Formation World Tour with a concert in Miami Wednesday night. She performed for thousands of fans at Marlins Park with a marathon 30+ song set.

She'll perform at the Georgia Dome on Sunday, May 1st at 7:30 p.m. after a stop in Tampa, Friday.

Her Atlanta concert is sold out. But, many tickets are for sale on several resale sites.

Ticketmaster, the official ticket source for the Formation Tour, released what they're calling "tips and tricks" to protect fans from buying or selling counterfeit tickets.

Their first tip is to cover the code and think twice before posting that ticket selfie. "On your paper or mobile ticket there is a one-of-a-kind code and if anyone acquires it they can make duplicate tickets to use or sell that render your tickets worthless. That’s a risk you don’t want to take."

Another tip, say "no" to scalpers outside of the Dome. Ticketmaster suggests you use their website to find "verified" resale tickets.

Thursday morning, the resale tickets were as low as $126 and go up from there.

For people interested in selling tickets, Ticketmaster suggests you use their selling service so that the buyer can get Ticketmaster Verified Tickets.
