Personal Statement

Isha koroma a unceasingly volleyball  player with a 4.2 GPA. I’ve always been told you’re a student athlete “see how student comes first” is what my dad always told me . When you love something so much to the point where you’re willing to put your all in every game , you know you really love it.That’s exactly how I feel about volleyball, this sport allows me to push myself in ways I never knew u could. volleyball like many other sports is something you can always improve, but you have to have the right mentality for it. Not only is it a physical game but a mind game as well.  Knowing what you’re capable of will carry you a long way. But this game of Volleyball is not always about winning and losing to me, building a relationship with your teammates Is very important. I’m the type of person that is always making people laugh I hate seeing a person down around me, that’s just how I am. My teammates are my family, having a bond with the people you play with will make the atmosphere more uplifting, a place you actually want to be.I’m also the 9th grader the “ freshman” that told my teammates before C/O ’22 leave we’re going to make it to the Del Vel championship . PWHS Volleyball team never made it. So I made it my goal and my teammates goal to at least make it, and I believe we can. C/O ’22 is where it’s at!
