Jacky Xu: The Billionaire Businesswoman behind Trendy Global

Jacky Xu is a Singaporean citizen and a Chinese debutante with a net worth of $1.6 billion dollars. She is the founder of Trendy Global, a Chinese apparel group that has become very successful.

Trendy Global oversees three major retail chains. Trendiano focuses on high-end Italian fashions primarily for men, Ochirly is a women’s clothing retailer, and Five Plus is a fashion, accessories, and luxury goods brand.

In 2011, LVMH, also known as Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA, purchased a 20% stake in Ochirly, valued at around $200 million dollars, through their private investment firm, L Capital Asia. The purchase was an attempt to repeat the success achieved by Hermes and their Asian fashion brand Shang Xia.

Trendy Global is hoping to list on either the New York or Hong Kong Stock Exchanges in the next few years.
