Personal Statement

My goal is to go to college to further my education to receive a degree in nursing or become a teacher who works with special needs children.

I have a passion and desire to play at the college level in softball.  I’m looking forward to working with my college coaches who will enhance my development in my softball skills. I also know and look forward to my development off the field with the guidance and leadership of my future softball staff.

My primary position is a pitcher.  I have been pitching at a competitive level since I was 10.  My secondary position is first base. Most of the time when I am playing softball if I’m not pitching, I am at first base. When there is a need for outfield play my coaches have also used me in right field and left field.  I have been taking lessons year-round since 10U competitive softball. My current pitching, hitting and fielding coach is Connie Miner, former Division I coach.
