She was an experienced rider in her own right. She had a soft spot for equine companionship and adored animals.

The Royal Victoria Hospital was her place of employment. Her level of commitment and persistence were unmatched by anyone else.

She was capable of working with even the most challenging patients with ease. “Friendly, fierce, and fair” is how her contemporaries characterize her.

Although compassionate and mild-mannered at her core, she was a formidable opponent.

She was the “original protector” and would go to any lengths for the people she cared about. She was someone that her friend respected and trusted.

Her warmth and generosity impacted a significant number of people’s lives.

She maintained a cheerful demeanor across every second of her life.

She was a very supportive wife to her husband, always staying by his side and cheering for him when he competed, joining him on his trips around the neighborhood to help the residents with their horses and trimming the horses.
