Logan Reese became a fan favorite as Below Deck Ohana’s deckhand. Since the new season of Below Deck Sailing Yacht aired, viewers have seriously been missing him and wonder where he is today.

New yachties are filling Logan’s former position, including Tom Pearson from Windermere, based in the north of England. Other newbies also include third stew Ashley Marti and deckhand Kelsie Goglia.

So, what has Logan been up to since the Ohana-based version of the Bravo show came to an end? We dove into his Instagram and found out all about his life post-filming.

Who is Logan Reese?

Born and raised in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Logan Reese attended Oklahoma State University and earned a Bachelor’s degree in hotel and restaurant administration, before hitting up the Ohana yacht.

When he first arrived on-board, it was quickly discovered that both him and Kate Chastain knew each other. It was later revealed that they had first met at a yachties party, which she described as “awkward”.

His love of boats started at an early age when he would design them using his toy Legos. After college in 2004, he upped and moved to the U.S. Virgin Islands, where he worked on sailboats as a deckhand for a year and a half.

What is the former deckhand up to?

Logan continues to travel the world, much like he did on the Ohana season. He recently got back from a trip to the Bahamas, in which he shared several pictures in front of clear, blue waters on a yacht.

When asked by a follower if he is still in Soflo in 2020, he responded: “Yeah, for a bit longer before I take off again.” However, he has clearly been to many different places since then, but doesn’t update social media very often.

Looking at his Facebook page, Logan – otherwise known as “Lefty” – has his main base in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He looks almost unrecognisable since his Bravo debut, as he now has a long beard rather than a clean-shaven look!

Romance-wise, we also noticed that he has found himself a girlfriend…

The Below Deck star’s girlfriend

Logan is now coupled up with a new lady, who goes by the name of Elissa Ellis. He only began sharing public photos with her in October 2021, which suggests they started dating around the same time.

Pictures of the pair together usually show Logan kissing Elissa on the head. He described her as his “witchy woman” in the recent post confirming their Instagram-official relationship.

On Valentine’s Day, Elissa posted a photo with Logan looking incredibly loved-up “in honor of lover’s day”. She calls him her “bearded beauty” and appears to be a student, or potentially in the teaching industry.

She wrote on Facebook: “My class days are just on Tuesday this semester and my school actually closed through the weekend for the blizzard which is nice.”
