Jimmy and Pat are Peggy Rose’s parents. From the get-go, they protected their daughter and were worried about which stranger she’d marry on Married at First Sight UK. During the homestays part of the E4 experiment, Georges worked hard to get the approval of Peggy’s dad.
MAFS: Meet Peggy’s dad Jimmy
Peggy’s father is called Jimmy Rose. He starred on MAFS and revealed he doesn’t think Georges is the man for his daughter, after questioning what Peggy’s husband does for a living.
He lives in Bexley in a huge Tudor house with his family. Peggy said to The Mirror: “My family didn’t want to get rid of me because I cook and clean, I’m the baby left. They didn’t want it. It’s not traditional, is it?”
She added: “My family is traditional, they wanted a conventional wedding not [for me to] marry a stranger.” Peggy says on Instagram that her father is a “King with no filter”.

Peggy Rose’s parents Jimmy and Pat have been together for years, and are providing the example of the marriage that Peggy wants in her life. They have two daughters and one son.
During homestays on MAFS UK, the parents, who house their 32-year-old daughter in their house with wood paneling and endless bedrooms, Georges and Peggy were not allowed to sleep in the same room.
When a fan said to Peggy, “Maybe he should have given his daughter the skills required to keep herself in the lifestyle she is accustomed to?” She responded: “He has thank you.”

‘Are they lottery winners from 1995?’
MAFS viewers have been trying to guess what Peggy Rose’s parents do. Some are convinced they won the lottery in the 80s or 90s, while others reckon Jimmy worked as a black cab driver.
A fan said: “Are they lottery winners from 1995? That’s my only logical explanation.” Another guessed: “I reckon a black cabby In London (it’s surprising how much money you could accrue) or construction.”
While some reckon he “cashed in in the 80s,” a viewer wrote: “What un-lazy hard work does Peggy’s mum do, I wonder? Or her dad? Or even Peggy? Flashing conspicuous cash but no manners or kindness.”
