Matt Hardy, the American professional wrestler, has a net worth of $5 million. He grew up in North Carolina, played multiple sports, and was an excellent student. He attended the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, but had to drop out due to his father’s illness. He subsequently earned his Associate’s Degree from Sandhills Community College.

Hardy started his own wrestling federation with his brother Jeff and their friends. In 1994, he began wrestling for the WWE, sporadically. He competed as a solo competitor from 2001-2005 and took some time off to recover from a knee injury. Since returning, he has become immensely popular.

In early 2014, Hardy was arrested on assault charges.
