Meet Laura Okmin Husband Michael Hagerty

Laura Okmin is a sports journalist with over 30 years of experience. 

She started her career in Montgomery, Alabama but later got hired to cover the Chicago Bulls. She worked for several networks like CNN, TBS Sports, FSN, and more, before eventually joining Fox Sports in 2002.

Working for CNN, she hosted shows like CNN Morning News, CNN Early Edition, NBA Today, and Page One.

As of 2022, she has become the third longest-running sideline reporter in the history of the NFL.

Okmin is a multi-talented lady with involvement in multiple fields. She is the founder of a company named GALvanize, which helps young women in developing a media personality. Likewise, the company also helps in building a network among women.

Moreover, Laura is a published author of a book called Mommy Has Cancer. She wrote the book in 2002 after the untimely passing of her mother.

Apart from her journalism career, Okmin serves in administrative positions for several organizations. She currently serves as a member of the University of Kansas-affiliated William Allen White Journalism School's Board of Trustees. 

Likewise, she has also collaborated with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission as a member of the advisory board.
