Personal Statement

Kicking a 50 yard field goal and sending the game into overtime, then kicking two onside kicks to win the game was the highlight of my career.  During a playoff game,  I also kicked a 32 yard field goal to tie the game and sent it into overtime to win the game.  I have been kicking since 7th grade and have a background in soccer but kicking is my passion.  As a sophomore, I was the starting varsity kicker for a 5A North Texas team, where I had a career 42 yard field goal and won the Special Teams Player Award. Since then, I have won 4 more awards my Junior year:   Sports Writers Association - 1st Team Offense Place Kicker, Padilla Poll- 1st Team Specialty, The Old Coach Class 4A All State Team - 1st Team Kicker, Texas and the Austin American Statesman Centex Team - 1st Team Offense.  

I am open to all Division I, II and III schools and would like to pursue a major in Business.  I am a hardworking student athlete that is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish my goals but never compromising my work ethics.  I am coachable, dependable, striving to be the best in sports and academics.   I have trained and worked hard and I'm looking forward to the college experience wherever that may be.  Thank you for considering me.
