Mickey Joseph Wife, Priscilla Arzaga Joseph, is a radio personality who is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Since 2009, Priscilla has been wed to Nebraska Cornhuskers head coach Mickey Joseph. They had a happy marriage before it regrettably turned sour.

Mickey Joseph’s wife has accused her husband of domestic abuse.

Unsettling information about the incident that gave rise to charges of third-degree domestic abuse and assault by strangulation is revealed in an affidavit that was made public.

Mickey Joseph’s wife, Priscilla Joseph, provides a detailed account of what transpired on November 30th in an affidavit that officer S. Redlin has signed. It also lists Ricardo Arzaga, Priscilla’s brother, as a witness to the incident.

The police are thoroughly investigating the matter. Information about the victim and their wounds were kept private.

The detention of Joseph

Mickey Joseph, a former Nebraska interim head football coach, was detained on suspicion of third-degree domestic violence and strangulation on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Lincoln Police Department. He was sent to the jail in Lancaster County.

Following an inquiry, police were called to a residence in Lincoln, where they later apprehended Joseph.

The officer wrote, ‘Priscilla said Mickey pushed her from the front, causing her to fall onto the couch, she further claimed that Mickey put his hands around her throat while she lay on the couch. He shoved me on the couch and strangled me.’

Joseph’s wife described how her husband reportedly choked her with his hands before grabbing her by the hair and pulling her back to the floor after she pushed him away and made an attempt to escape the room.

The statement continues, ‘Priscilla stated Robert punched her in the left temple with a closed fist. According to her, Robert grabbed me by the hair and punched me in the eye. Priscilla’s left eye was seen to have obvious redness and swelling as a result of being struck.’

The officers also noticed hair fragments on her pant leg, which Priscilla Joseph stated were plucked from the back of her head during the struggle. She also recollected her husband’s attempt to flush her phone down the toilet.

According to KETV-7, authorities confirmed that Joseph’s wife had trauma scars on the left side of her face in court documents filed on Thursday. In the court records, Lincoln Police Officer Steve Redlin described the scene in detail.

The officers received confirmation from Mickey Joseph’s brother-in-law that he heard the struggle from the home’s second story.

According to Lancaster County prosecutors, Joseph was charged with one felony count of assault by strangulation. He was supposed to appear in court on Thursday via video conference, and a $2,000 bond was imposed for Joseph.

After learning of the arrest, Nebraska’s athletic officials put the coach on administrative leave.

Matt Rhule, the head coach of the New Huskers, offered his thoughts on Joseph’s arrest on The Jim Rome Show on Thursday.

“We had planned to meet yesterday, but obviously, circumstances have changed since then, added Rhule,” who also expressed shock and amazement at Joseph’s actions.

‘I was made aware of the charges against Coach Joseph and given the nature of the allegations and based on University policy he has been placed on administrative leave,’ said Nebraska’s athletic director Trev Alberts in a statement.
