Dr. Zachary Okhah, Ms Jacky Oh plastic surgeon, found himself at the center of controversy following her death and has now issued a statement.

He posted his statement on Instagram on Friday and did not mention Jacky Oh or the incident.

Dr. Zach, the esteemed owner and founder of PH-1 Miami Clinic, has faced legal challenges as some of his former patients filed lawsuits alleging mishandled procedures. 

Despite these controversies, Dr. Zach has steadfastly asserted his clinic’s relentless commitment to delivering exceptional, top-notch medical care.

In his statement, Dr. Zach stated that all aesthetic procedures performed at PH-1 Miami are carried out to “universally recognized medical standards.” 

He maintained that he is fully committed to advancing techniques in plastic surgery to ensure the best possible results in the safest way possible.

Dr. Zach emphasized that his staff ensured that each patient was “vetted, prepped, and treated” according to their patient history before surgery. 

While disabling the comments section of his post, Dr. Zach’s statement attracted a lot of criticism on social media.

Many social media users found it despicable that Dr. Zach failed to acknowledge Oh’s passing or express his condolences. 

Although Oh’s family has not released an official cause of death, she had traveled to Miami for a “mommy makeover” before her sudden passing.

The incident that created controversy

Ms. Jacky Oh, born Jacklyn Smith, was a 33-year-old mother of three and longtime partner of “Wild ‘N Out” star D.C. Young Fly.

Oh underwent a “mommy makeover” at Dr. Zach’s clinic before her sudden death on May 31st.

Before the procedure, Oh shared a now-deleted post to her Instagram, showing her wearing a disposable medical gown and posing alongside Dr. Zach. 

In the caption of the post, she wrote, “Getting ready for my mommy makeover with Dr. Zach!! Stay tuned to my YouTube for the full reveal!”

Since her passing, the police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death. 

While there has been no official cause of death, social media users have raised concerns about Dr. Zachary Okhah, Ms Jacky Oh plastic surgeon, culpability.

Despite the social media outrage, the authorities have not officially charged Dr. Zach with any wrongdoing regarding Oh’s death.

Dr. Zach emphasized that all procedures at his clinic are in line with the highest standards.

He added that he and his team thoroughly vet each patient before performing their surgery.

Despite Dr. Zach’s emphasis on patient safety, many social media users remain skeptical.

Some people highlighted the fact that the doctor’s former patients had sued him multiple times.

These people claimed that he botched their procedures.

Critics have argued that Dr. Zach should have acknowledged Oh’s passing and expressed his condolences in his statement.

They have also criticized him for disabling the comments section of his Instagram post.

Social media users also expressed outrage over the fact that Dr. Zach deleted Jacky’s post-op photos from his Instagram page.

Moreover, netizens accused Dr. Zach of attempting to conceal evidence.

The evidence that the doctor is trying to conceal may be used against him in legal proceedings.
