Delano Burkes is a 26-year-old Houston resident who has been missing since November 13. There have been recent updates that might help Delano’s family and friends. 

Delano’s friends said that he went missing after they went through different bars in the Heights. As per strong sources, Delano’s mother, Karen Jeffley, says that she will not rest until she finds her son. 

She added that she has been receiving calls from some people, and they told her that Delano was seen in downtown Houston. 

The investigation team in Texas says that this clue can be very helpful and might quicken the search for Delano Burkes who is missing from Houston. 

His mother said, “To get a phone call today and say that somebody thinks they saw him downtown is great.” 

Several people who have known Burkes’s family have been searching for him around their area for days. Jeffley says if the flyers go up as they are going now, then it might increase the hope of finding Burkes as soon as possible. 

His friends shared their statement with the police, and they said that they saw him at 12:30 AM on Sunday. They added that they were all together and going through multiple bars in Houston Heights. 

Delano Burkes Missing From Houston – New Leads 

Recent footage was retrieved in which Delano leaves McIntyre’s Bar near West 19th Street, and after that, he was seen crossing the street. From the footage, his physical appearance was analyzed, which predicted that he was in distress. 

Jeffley says that she had seen multiple videos from the night when Burkes went missing. She said “scary,” as he “definitely wasn’t in his right mind.“

His mother shared a statement claiming that her son, Delano Burkes, was drunk and drugged the night he went missing. She confirmed that Burkes’s height was 5 foot 10 inches, and his weight was around 200 pounds. 

However, the investigators have been searching the entire area and trying to confirm whether Jeffley’s claims are correct or not. 

As per sources, Burkes’s family is trying to find his cell phone, as the night he went missing, he left his car behind. 

Jeffley says, “We are spending hours trying to get approval to get that ping. They don’t want to ping it unless it’s a crime or a life-or-death situation. They don’t consider it that.”

Mark Edwards shared a statement alongside Texas EquuSearch. They said, “they are extremely important. Over the 20 years, hundreds of people have been found because the public has seen our flyer, saw a report from the news, called in the lead, and we’re able to track down the missing person.”

Edwards discussed that he is working with Delano’s family, and they had planned to initiate another search last Sunday. However, the search’s outcome failed, and Delano is now missing for over a week. 

He stated that Burkes’s family was distressed after he went missing. He said the family didn’t show signs of fatigue or argue about walking long distances during the search. 

Jeffley shared a statement in which she says that “never leave your friends or your loved ones behind.” She emphasized that friends should look out for those mates who drink too much.
