ATLANTA — MARTA Police are investigating a scene near the Lakewood station after a man was struck by a train.

The incident occurred around 9:30 p.m., according to police. It is still unknown if the person was on the tracks, and officials have not revealed if the incident was fatal or to the condition of the man.

A bus bridge is in effect to transport patrons from the West End to East Point.
