What is Rosanna Arquette’s Net Worth?

Rosanna Arquette, an American actress, has a net worth of $20 million. However, her marital wealth through her investment banker ex-husband Todd Morgan, who filed for divorce in 2022, is significant.

In the 80s, Arquette earned critical acclaim for her role in “The Executioner’s Song,” which garnered her an Emmy Award nomination. She also won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in “Desperately Seeking Susan.” During the same decade, she appeared in films such as “After Hours” and “The Big Blue.”

Arquette’s 90s films include “Pulp Fiction” and “Crash,” and she became known for her leading role in ABC’s “What About Brian” during the 2000s.

Rosanna Arquette’s Family Background

Rosanna Arquette was born in New York City in 1959, into a highly artistic Jewish family. Her mother was an actress, poet, and therapist, and her father was the actor and producer Lewis Arquette. Her grandfather was a comedian named Cliff Arquette. She has siblings who are also performers, including Patricia, Alexis, and David Arquette. Additionally, her family is a distant relative to the explorer Meriwether Lewis.

Rosanna Arquette’s Acting Career

After minor roles in films like “More American Graffiti” and “S.O.B” in the late 70s and early 80s, Rosanna Arquette broke through with 1982’s “The Executioner’s Song,” resulting in an Emmy Award nomination. However, she was dissatisfied with her nude scene.

Arquette’s next few years involved being approached with several roles that also involved nude scenes, adding to her discontent and discomfort. Her first starring role was in the well-received limited release film “Baby It’s You” in 1983.

She gained greater fame after appearing alongside Madonna in “Desperately Seeking Susan,” winning a BAFTA Award. Despite this success, her next films resulted in disillusionment with Hollywood.

Arquette worked in Europe for some time before returning to Hollywood for movies such as “Black Rainbow” and “The Linguini Incident.” She appeared on the cover of “Playboy” magazine in 1990 without her consent.

In the 90s, she became known for roles in movies like “Pulp Fiction,” “Nowhere to Run,” and “The Wrong Man.” She continued to work on European films and also appeared in television series like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “CSI: Cyber.”

From the 2000s onwards, Arquette continued to book roles in movies like “The Whole Nine Yards” and “Joe Dirt,” while also directing documentaries like “Searching for Debra.”

Rosanna Arquette’s Sexual Harassment Claims Against Harvey Weinstein

In 2017, Rosanna Arquette accused producer Harvey Weinstein of sexually harassing her before her appearance in “Pulp Fiction.” She claimed that she was threatened after refusing to enter his hotel room and was paid less for her role in the film as a result. Arquette also alleged that Weinstein ensured she wasn’t cast in leading roles in subsequent films.

Arquette was one of the first celebrities to openly speak about Weinstein’s patterns of harassment when they were exposed in the 2010s. However, she faced a backlash on social media when she expressed her shame for having white privilege on Twitter. The trolling became so severe that the FBI recommended she make her account private.

Rosanna Arquette’s Relationships

In the 1980s, Arquette dated Steve Porcaro, the keyboardist for the band Toto. The Toto song “Rosanna” is at least partially written about her, although the primary songwriter David Paich claims that the song was based on numerous women he had dated and not necessarily directly about Arquette.

Arquette also dated Peter Gabriel, and his song “In Your Eyes” is reportedly inspired by her. She has been married several times, including to film composer James Newton Howard. In 2013, she married investment banker Todd Morgan, but it was revealed on March 09, 2022, that Todd had filed for divorce from Arquette.
