Personal Statement

Ever since I can remember, college baseball has always been an aspiration of mine. Growing up where I was raised, you either go to prison or make it out on a college scholarship. When I was a kid, I promised my mom that I would become a college athlete and make her proud. So here I am ten years later making that promise happen. I believe I'm a good candidate for your team because no matter how many times I fail, I'm going to keep on trying. Other athletes won't out work me, they may have slightly more skill, but they will never outwork me on the field or in the classroom. No matter how much success I have on the field or in the classroom, I would never leave another teammate struggling. No matter how much success I have, I will always remain humble.
