This article covers the updates regarding the death case of Shanquella Robinson. A video was uploaded on social media a few weeks ago in which it was observed that Deajhanae Jackson brutally beat Shanquella Robinson.
A few moments after the video went viral; the news was circulated over the internet that Shanquella Robinson had tragically passed away.
However, a recent update related to Shanquella Robinson’s death case came to light. Let’s find out.
Shanquella Robinson update
It was confirmed that Shanquella Robinson was 25 years old at the time of her death.
This weekend, her family and friends came together to rally support in North Carolina and to seek justice for her murder that happened after she went on a vacation in Mexico.
It was reported that Shanquella went on a vacation with her friend and stayed at the Fundadores Beach Club in San José del Cabo.
Later, a video was leaked in which one of her friends brutally assaulted her.
After her death, the Mexican authorities called the case a femicide. Her friend was on the suspect list and later got arrested.
An event took place on Saturday on behalf of Shanquella at Charlotte’s Little Rock AME Zion Church, which was organized by the Million Youth March Of Charlotte & Salisbury Teen Advisory Board.
In the event, Robinson’s father, Bernard, said that he was crying like a baby when he saw his daughter’s dead body at her funeral. He said, “I sat there and said, ‘Baby, Daddy will get you justice.'”
He said he is seeking justice for his daughter. He added, “I just want the Mexican authorities, the embassy, to do the right thing; make it right. Because they came over there on your soil and did what they did and came back here.”
Shanquella went on vacation on October 28, and a day later, her mother, Sallamondra Robinson, was informed that her daughter had passed away due to alcohol poisoning.
However, the video leaked over the internet made some doubts rise in Sallamondra’s mind.
According to sources, Sallamondra said Shanquella’s six friends came to meet her individually before the autopsy report.
All six of her friends had a different story to tell. But everyone said Shanquella died due to alcohol poisoning.
However, the autopsy report revealed that Shanquella Robinson died due to a severe spinal cord injury and Atlas subluxation complex.
These injuries could have been caused during the brutal assault she endured from her friend.
The autopsy report didn’t mention anything related to alcohol poisoning.
Later, Sallamondra said she was relieved to hear that one of her friends was arrested as she was the one who assaulted her daughter.
She said, “I feel so good, that’s a good feeling. That’s what we have been waiting for, for someone to finally be held accountable and arrested. I just can’t wait for justice to be served.”
The FBI opened the case after the authorities arrested Shanquella’s friend, Deajhanae Jackson.
