Sherry Velozo Death – Beloved members of the family and friends, Sherry Velozo, my beloved mother, passed away recently, and it is with a heavy heart and a profound sense of sorrow that I share the news with you. Within the confines of the Baystate Intensive Care Unit, she passed away peacefully in her sleep last night, transcending this world to embrace eternal peace.

She had communicated her desire to not have a service, thereby remaining true to her spirit and the things she desired. The message that she wanted us to send to our extended family and friends was one of reassurance, knowing that she is now free from pain and reunited with her cherished husband, Joseph Velozo, as well as all of the other members of her family who had passed away.

My mother was a remarkable individual who exuded warmth, kindness, and an infinite amount of love to anyone who had the good fortune to be in her presence. The void that her absence leaves in our lives is never going to be filled, but the legacy of love and memories that she left behind will live on in our hearts forever.

In Sherry’s life, the most important things were her strength, her ability to bounce back from adversity, and her unflinching love for her family. Her approach to overcoming obstacles was one of poise and determination, and she never put her own requirements ahead of those of others. Her sense of humor reverberated with happiness, her sage advice provided direction, and her love was limitless.
