Personal Statement

Hello Coaches:

First, let me thank you for looking at my profile.  I have been playing softball for 10 years and I am ambitious to continue playing in college.  I am a little behind the recruiting power curve because I lived in Germany for 2 years.  While I was there I played on both an American and German team and traveled all over Europe playing softball.  I played in Poland, Czech Republic, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and of course, Germany.  In 2014 we moved to Virginia where I played with Elite of Chesapeake.  We lived there for 18 months before moving again to Oklahoma.   I have come to realize that it is hard to get noticed when you move constantly; courtesy of the United States Government.   Even though moving has been challenging, it has taught me resiliency and given me profound worldly perspective.  I truly appreciate different cultures and people for who and what they are.  I know that there is a perfect college fit for me and I am excited to find it.  Maybe it will be you!
