The internet is home to a lot of strange things, but possibly nothing stranger than a teenager who decided to send someone her pinkie toe.

The two Tumblr users, royallyoily (who sent the toe) and cummy-eyelids (who received it) posted pictures of the toe online, discussing how excited they were to turn it into a necklace.

Along with proof that royallyoily, real name Lana, was genuinely missing a toe and had, in fact, posted it to cummy-eyelids.

Here it is in all of its glory.

Don’t worry, though — cummy-eyelids, a.k.a. 26-year-old Hayley, didn’t cut off her toe specifically for Lana. She had it amputated in 2011 and was allowed to keep it.

Lana works with “wet specimens, bones, and skills” and also enjoys making jewelry. She described receiving the toe, which she plans to turn into a pendant, as “a nice way for me to combine my skills”.

The internet is a weird place.
