St Hubert Catholic High School Twitter video depicts the racism that the students have to face on a regular basis.

The video depicting students from St. Hubert Catholic High School and Franklin Towne Charter High School in Philadelphia has been widely shared across social media, sparking outrage in the community.

It appears to show a white student spraying dark paint on another white student’s face and referring to her as a slave, accompanied by comments from other girls encouraging the act.

Understandably, this has generated considerable discontent among those who have seen it, prompting protestors to take a stand for justice and accountability within the education system.

The severity of the matter cannot be understated, and it must be addressed with haste by school representatives.

The other girl responds that she is black and proud, while other students can be heard laughing in the background.

Let’s talk about the WHITE GIRLS @ St Hubert’s & Franklin Towne in Northeast Philly who want to send racist snapchats to my godsister and the other young black girls at the school! Since the school doesn’t want to do anything I decided to blast their faces!

The disturbing events have drawn attention and outrage from the community, with parents, students, and concerned citizens taking to the streets to demand action.

Nikole Hines, a mother whose daughter once attended St Hubert, commented on the video, saying that while the allegations are distressing, they are not unfamiliar to her daughter.

She reported experiencing microaggressions and racial harassment, such as having her hair pulled, being laughed at, and even being filmed without consent.

Hines stated that she wants to reform and that something has to be done to prevent this from happening again, whether the school remains open or not.

The Archdiocese of Philadelphia, which oversees St. Hubert, released a statement acknowledging that the video was brought to the attention of the school administration on Tuesday after its students posted it on social media.

The statement emphasized that the Archdiocese takes racism seriously, views it as a mortal sin, and has no tolerance for such behavior in any of its Catholic schools.

The Archdiocese also stated that all those responsible for the video would be disciplined in accordance with St. Hubert’s handbook.

Franklin Towne Charter High School also issued a statement condemning the events surrounding the racist video and expressing its disappointment and disbelief.

The school also stated that any student who participates in such behavior, including the former student who appeared in the video, has no place at the school and that the content of the video does not reflect the values and culture of the Franklin Towne community.
