Stephen Mascoll Obituary, Death – Stephen Mascoll was a real Mustang icon, and his passing was deeply felt by the Medford High School community. During his over forty-year tenure at MHS, Mr. Mascoll taught history, served as an assistant sub-master, a sub-master, and was a highly regarded track coach. His legacy will never fade.

For several generations of Mustangs, he served as a mentor and role model, his influence reaching far beyond the classroom and track. Throughout his thirty years as a coach and educator, Mr. Mascoll became known for his commitment to quality and hard work. Only a few days before he passed away, he was honored with a well-deserved induction into the Mustang Hall of Fame for his dedication to both academics and athletics.

In front of more than 200 individuals who were excited to share their special recollections of Mr. Mascoll, his nephew Kevin collected the honor on his behalf during the induction ceremony. Numerous people were motivated and had their lives impacted by the man whose experiences were told throughout the ceremony. Colleagues, athletes, and students all praised him for his love for coaching and teaching,

As well as his continuous support and genuine kindness. It was clear that Mr. Mascoll’s impact extended well beyond the school’s walls, establishing a lasting legacy that will be recalled for many years to come. The entire community, as well as the family and friends of Mr. Mascoll, have our sincere condolences, on behalf of the Medford High School Mustangs.

The deep impact he had on so many lives is evident in the pain felt throughout Mustang country as his absence creates a gap that is difficult to fill. The Mustangs honor the legacy of Stephen Mascoll, a true legend whose spirit will always be a part of Medford High School, as they bid farewell to a beloved teacher, coach, and mentor. Peace be with you, Mr. Mascoll. Though we shall miss you, we will never forget you.
