Steve Hutchinson, a well-respected senior school teacher at De La Salle School in Basildon, passed away on March 6, 2023, after collapsing on the school’s playground before the school gate opened for students. Sources have revealed that he died on the premises due to a heart attack. 

He had been serving his duty for a long time and was considered an experienced and dedicated teacher who contributed positively to society, always working hard to develop the future of the students in his care.

Although his obituary has not been released, his family has not made any public statements about his death, indicating that they are seeking privacy during this difficult period. 

Steve was known for his kindness, innovation, and problem-solving skills, and he played an essential role in the progress and success of society, always ready to help his students.

The school management officially announced before his death that Steve was the longest-serving member of staff at the school and became ill on Monday morning.
