Brigitte Kingsley as Liv James

Brigitte Kingsley plays the lead role of Liv James in The Art of Christmas. Liv is an artist who had to take on a job of a school teacher.

Liv James is an artist working at an art gallery. She makes her living by putting her artworks for exhibitions. Unfortunately, in one instance, her gallery exhibition catches fire and destroys her life's work.

The artist is forced by fate to look for options to make ends meet. Reluctantly, she takes on the job of an elementary school teacher. But the unexpecting James discovers her true self and a new sense of purpose in life. What's more, she also finds a surprising romance with Jake Hartley (played by Joe Towne).

Kingsley is a famous Canadian actor, writer, and producer. She was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. She began her acting career while she was in high school. She was just fourteen years at the time.

Kingsley graduated from York University with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts with a major in Theatre Studies. Shortly after, she launched her production company Defaint Empire Corporation with her business partner Andrew Cymek.

The 46-year-old now has more than twenty-five credits as a producer under her name. She became president of the Black Walk production company in 2008. However, she left the company in 2012 and started her own company, Good Soldier Films, with her partner Andre Cymek.

The actress was nominated for six Canadian Comedy Awards in 2008 for her debut feature film Dark Rising. In 2011, she carried the responsibilities of Decade Distribution so as to broaden her knowledge in the sales and distribution side of films.

Kingsley married her business partner Cymek in 2005. She has been collaborating with her partner in various movies. Of recent, she has been producing romantic comedies and Christmas films for popular companies such as Super Channel, Hallmark, UPTV, and Great American Family (GAC).  

Kingsley also holds the credit as the screenwriter of the movie The Art of Christmas. And her partner Cymek served as the director.

Joe Towne as Jake Hartley

Joe Towne plays one of the lead characters Jake Hartley in The Art of Christmas. He stars opposite Brigitte Kingsley in the movie.

Jake is an enthusiast of artwork. He meets Liv James in the elementary school where she was teaching after her artworks were destroyed in a fire. Jake had observed some of Liv's paintings and felt drawn to them. Eventually, the two characters connect with each other and develop a romantic bond along the way.

Towne is an American actor and writer who hails from Amsterdam, New York. He is most notable for his works in Significant Mother and Isn't It Romantic. He has five credits as a writer, which includes The Pitch Wars, See How They Run, Friends in Therapy, and others.

Towne is a coach at The Performers Mindset and a host of the Better Podcast. Towne is married to his wife, Erin Cardillo, since 2011. The couple has a child together. 

Darin Brooks as Reggie

Darin Brooks is among the main cast members in The Art of Christmas. He plays the role of Reggie.

Reggie is the best friend of Jake Hartley in the movie. Also, he and Brit are a couple. They bring in some sweet time and support the flow of the plot of the movie, which is a feel-good family drama.

Brooks is an actor and producer who is known for his works in Amber Brown, Blue Mountain Sea, and The Croods: Family Tree. He has a total of twenty-six credits as an actor. He has been involved in nine TV Series as a producer. 

Brooks hails from Honolulu, Hawaii. He is married to the Canadian actress Kelly Kruger. Kruger plays Brit in the same movie.

Kelly Kruger as Brit

Kelly Kruger is cast as one of the main characters named Brit in The Art of Christmas.

Kruger's character Brit is the best friend of Liv James in the movie. She is also paired with Reggie (played by Darin Brooks) in the movie. They form an on-screen couple which is more of a life-imitating act for the couple.

Kruger is a Canadian actress and producer. She is widely known for The Young and the Restless, Entourage, and Blue Mountain State. She has been active in the business since 1999 and has thirty-seven credits as an actress under her name.

Kruger has been married to her partner Darin Brooks since 2016. The couple was in a relationship for six years prior to their marriage. They have two beautiful daughters named Everleigh Jolie Brooks, born on 22 September 2019, and Gemma. Kruger's husband, Brooks, is an actor too. He also stars in The Art of Christmas alongside Kruger in the role of Reggie.

Kruger is a beauty enthusiast and a makeup consultant. She has her own line of beauty products named Madison Charles Oil. She has created an Instagram page where she promotes the products and offers different beauty services. 

Frank Chiesurin as Bradley Johnson

Frank Chiesurin stars as Bradley Johnson in The Art of Christmas. 

Chiesurin is a Canadian actor who is specialized in Theatre Performance. He has had significant involvement in many TV and movie projects, including The Strain, Resident Evil, Suits, and The Lizzy Borden Chronicles, among others. He wrote several episodes of a web series titled The Jim.
