Personal Statement

While attending college, I hope to first and foremost get a great education. Growing up, my family has always stressed the importance of education which is why I believe I work so hard in the classroom. Not only do I work hard in the classroom, but also on the court. Anyone who knows me, knows I like getting things perfect. It could something as simple as memorizing a formula or working on my fundamentals, but in the end I have to get it right. Personality wise, I think what makes me different from other highly-skilled recruits is my ego. I've experienced times when I'm at the top of my game as well as the low. However through it all, I've learned to stay focused, and be confident but not too confident. Let your game do the talking. Athletics wise, I just love the game. I give my all every time I step on the court. Academically, I try my absolute best in the classroom. Of course I struggle in some areas more than others, but one thing I don't do is give up.
