Victor Drai: Film Producer and Nightclub Entrepreneur

Victor Drai, born in Casablanca in 1947, is a Moroccan film producer and entrepreneur with a net worth of $250 million. His film career began in the 1980s, producing movies such as “The Woman in Red,” “Weekend at Bernie’s,” and “The Man with One Red Shoe.”

Aside from film production, Drai is best known for founding and creating several Las Vegas nightclubs, including Drai’s After Hours, XS, Tryst, and Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub. He opened his first French restaurant, Drai’s, in Los Angeles in 1983, and later opened a location on the Las Vegas strip in 1997, which he transformed into Drai’s After Hours. In 2007, he took over the club La Bete at the Wynn Las Vegas and turned it into Tryst, which was ranked #8 on Nightclub & Bar Magazine’s Top 100 Nightclubs & Bars list.

In 2008, Drai opened XS at Encore Las Vegas, which won “New Club of the Year” and “Mega-Club of the Year” honors. His most recent venture, Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub, opened at The Cromwell Las Vegas in 2015. Drai is listed in the Nightclub Hall of Fame.
