What Did Coroner Write In Brittany Murphy’s Autopsy?

Writer Andrew Walker

Brittany Murphy autopsy – Brittany Murphy’s death has been long thought to be caused by the mixture of drugs in her system, but according to an autopsy report released Thursday, it was actually the result of an underlying medical condition.

Severe anaemia left Murphy’s body weakened and vulnerable to pneumonia and the prescription medications she was using in order to treat it.

This anaemia was said to have been brought on by her menstrual cycle, which also further contributed to the impact that a mix of drugs, including hydrocodone, had on her body due to her weak state.

The tragedy of Murphy’s death serves as a stark reminder of the necessity for proper monitoring and maintenance when it comes to health issues.

Recently released Coroner’s reports have revealed that the tragic death of actress Brittany Murphy was likely preventable.

The report stated that her menstrual period contributed to her long-term anaemia and weakened state, making her vulnerable to infection.

It also explained that a host of medications she was taking due to reported flu-like symptoms in the days before her death, including hydrocodone and acetaminophen, had an amplified effect on her due to her weakened state.

Although the Coroner’s office had already concluded Murphy’s death was accidental, this recent report provides further insight into the circumstances leading up to it.

The autopsy performed on the late actress, Brittany Murphy, found no indication that she abused drugs. However, investigators did discover numerous prescription medications in her home, which she shared with her husband, Simon Monjack, and her mother, Sharon.

These medications included anti-seizure medicines and hydrocodone. Prior to Murphy’s death, she had been experiencing severe abdominal pain for an estimated seven to ten days, and her family thought it was a result of her menstrual period, which typically caused her troubles.

Attempts to contact Monjack or Sharon Murphy was not successful on Thursday.

Brittany Murphy’s autopsy report, which was released in February 2010, indicated that she was otherwise healthy and had been receiving treatment for diabetes.

Nevertheless, her husband stated in an earlier interview that the actress had experienced a health episode while shooting ‘8 Mile’ and had to start taking anti-seizure medications.

Furthermore, the couple was said to be considering relocating to New York with plans to start a family before tragedy struck.

Despite a decline in big screen roles since ‘Sin City’ in 2005, Murphy still managed to remain active in her industry by juggling several movie projects.
