Hosted by American outdoorsman, conservationist, and writer Steven Rinella, Meateater is back on Netflix from September 29th for its tenth season.
Meateater began back in 2012 and has released a new season each year ever since.
The show follows famous hunter Steven Rinella “into the world’s most remote, beautiful regions, bringing game meat from field to table”.
Ahead of the new series, we will be exploring where Meateater season 10 was filmed, the animals being hunted, and some reactions from fans!
Where was Meateater season 10 filmed?
The location of each episode of Meateater is crucial in determining what viewers will see Rinella hunt, cook, and eat.
In the latest season of the Meateater, we will see Steven Rinella along with special guests hunt across America, including places such as Wyoming, the Rockies, South Texas, Pennsylvania, and Northwest Arkansas!
Similar to previous seasons, they have decided to stick to hunting in the Western Hemisphere.
What animals will be hunted on Meateater season 10?
As they travel across America, we can expect to see many different animals being hunted.
In episode 1 we will see Rinella and special guest Luke Combs hunt for the unique North American mammal, pronghorn in Wyoming.
Then, in episode 2 Steven Rinella and Kurt Racicot will be hunting on an alpine mountain in the Rockies for goats.
Episode 3 will take place in South Texas, as we see white taled version turned into five delicious dishes.
During Pennsylvania’s flintlock season, episode 4 will see Rinella hunt for deer.
And for the season finale, the hunters will be visiting Northwest Arkansas to hunt for squirrels by day and raccoons by night!
