Chris Hardwick is a multi-talented personality known for his work as a comedian, actor, writer, and television host.

In 2016, Hardwick landed another major hosting gig when he was tapped to host the game show “The Wall” on NBC.

The show, which premiered in December of that year, features contestants answering trivia questions for a chance to win cash prizes. The show has been well-received by audiences and has since been renewed for several seasons.

Hardwick is also the founder of Nerdist Industries, a digital media company that produces content related to pop culture, comics, and gaming.

The company was acquired by Legendary Entertainment in 2012 and has since expanded to include a podcast network and a YouTube channel.

In addition to his work in entertainment, Hardwick is also a passionate advocate for mental health awareness.

The Wall’s fifth season is set to premiere on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and will be hosted by Chris Hardwick. The game show features multiple games, with the ultimate goal of winning a significant amount of money. 

Each night, players will have a chance to win cash prizes exceeding $12 million. In addition, there will be a single electrifying drop worth $3 million.

Aside from Hardwick, NBA legend LeBron James, his business partner Maverick Carter, and Andrew Glassman will serve as executive producers. 

Alan Carter and Michael Dempsey will direct the show, while Jessica Otazua, Tim Sullivan, Aaron Long, and Quintin Strack will serve as co-executive producers.

As per NBC’s description of the game show, when a question is answered correctly, a green ball falls down the four-story wall, and more cash is added to the slot players’ winning total, called the bank.

On the other hand, if a question is answered incorrectly, a red ball drops, and value is deducted from the team’s bank.
